Here's How the Process Works . . .

You email me several photos of your pet BEFORE you purchase.  They are the basis for the painting, so let's make sure we have exactly what we need before you purchase (this helps avoid nightmares with refunds and cancellations).       alycia@alyciabarry.com
The photos need to have clear focus and good lighting, so I can see the facial features well. I use the exact pose from the photo as reference for the portrait. In most cases, better reference photos help me make better portraits. So please submit good photos!  I have the skill to work from mediocre  references, but please be aware that a poor quality reference will usually result in an additional charge.  Great references are easier and faster to paint.  Poor references require a significantly longer investment of time and talent.
One subject is included.  Additional subjects (3 total) are an additional charge, usually $40-60 each.
I discuss colors/size/ideas for your painting with you via email. I will pick the best photo you submitted, crop it to the correct dimensions, and you will approve it before I start to paint.
Sometimes there is a waiting list. If so, your purchase holds your spot and I will keep you posted as to when to expect me to begin your artwork.
When your painting is complete, I'll email a proof for you to approve.  One small revision is included in the price (additional fee for multiple revisions).
If you've purchased framed art artwork, you will then be given 2-3 frames to choose from that compliment the artwork.  Framed canvas is black, chocolate or gold float frame only.
